Live sound is back on Track & lead guitar can now be recorded, following the repair of some electronics, NEW TRACKS will be completed over the next couple of weeks ! After this Album is complete some live performances on google are the next project....URL will posted. Have a Rockin' Good Monday !

Albums, Live, Online Gigs ........

Following the completion of the 4 Track EP "I LURV ROCK'N'ROLL" 6 more Tracks heve been written & are in the recording process currently, hindered slightly by a breakdown of some guitar electronics, which should return from repair soon. The Drums, Bass & Rhythm Guitars can still be recorded & the Vocal Lyrics written. So its looking good for a complete Album some time in September. After that its back to Live Performance with the immediate plan being to do some Gigs on Google web-cam which will be well posted at the time. If the response is good enough there is a possibility of making these into an hour & a half long shows but initially they will be half hour Gigs with a Lead Guitar intro. As far as Live in Stage is concerned some London dates will be booked. The Album is as yet untitled ....but there's a lot of lyrics to be written yet so a title will surely emerge from them. "QUANTUM DRIVER" & General News ....

The Track “QUANTUM DRIVER” is now finished, three New Tracks are now ready to go, two are sets of lyrics were written last week & the other exists only in my head as a guitar piece currently. The next step is to make a rough, one rhythm guitar, recording of each & get the drums recorded. That will bring the new Album up to seven tracks. Then there is a track from some time ago, which was never recorded, or played live for that matter, that has potential. Which brings it up to eight….nearly enough ! A break from recording for about a week is also coming up to go through one of the older Live Sets, so something is ready to go with Jay the new guitarist & a backing recording needs doing, so if push comes to shove we can play as a duo, with recorded bass & drums. Alum Titles are only possible choices …. They are either Ideal World or Chaos Theory but who knows something may crop up at the last minute that sounds right !

Guitars & songwriting ….

Guitars & songwriting …. BC RICH's are my Guitar of choice because of the whining lead sound, the sound of electric guitars surprisingly enough is made by the density of the wood, they actually produce the same sound unplugged but you cant hear the tone unless you put your ear right next to the strings. The songs are all composed by me, I have written around 300 Rock/Metal songs to date & I think of so many new ideas daily when I busy mixing or rehearsing that a lot of good ones get forgotten. For instance the Track "Baby Doll" was written initially at the top of the stairs, it just came into my head & I stood for about 5 mins working out a solid format & what I wanted to be the prominent sound. Mostly though I work out the front guitar part … what I will be playing live, record that on the studio & archive it for future reference. The lyrics, unless I already have a strong idea are simply what the music "says" to me after repeated listening & the lead guitar is more technical, going from minor to augmented & into major keys mortly, sometimes the backing picks up the these chords but mostly for clarity the backing is very "route note" orientated. I use various guitar electronics, plugged directly in to the power amplifier of a 300w unit that will actually power 8 4 x 12 speaker cabinets, though one speaker cabinet has the power to completely drown out the band! & a small amplifier as stage monitor that I gave "legs" so it can lean back at the appropriate angle.
