Pulled in at the last minute again for the
EDGE BARS Live Rock night (more info
on this Gig from the ROCK MATRIX) it
turned out to be a five Band evening in
spite of the original doubts about the
number of Bands & a great evening was
had by all who attended, although
suffering from some monitoring problems
due to a rush decision to leave a small
monitor Amp behind to make more room,
the Gig went well with THE REAPER &
3rd REICH cut from the set to give the
other Bands a little more time to play,
the full set is an hour & 7 mins, so cutting
2 from the already short half hour set
makes the Gig a breeze! although
WAKEN NOSFORATU was a bit of a struggle
because of the previously mentioned lack
of on stage sound. The other Tracks can
mostly be played only hearing the drums
but this track has a lead section that alternates
from f# to e chords quickly & well.....it
probably didn't, at least not in a way that
is faithfull to the recordings & as a faithfull
note for note lead guitarist it is a matter
for some concern.

Hope there's more panic Gigs at THE EDGE
in Romford...
its a great Venue & cool Gig to play every time!

Back to the peacefull undisturbed world of
studio recording for the present, working on
Track 6 presently, a powerfull Thrashy "thang" !
think the Album will be called HELL BOY after
one of the Tracks but it may change as the
Album progresses, working title for now anyway.
The other Tracks are mostly nameless at
present, so STAR CHASER & HELL BOY
are the only to possibles to date.

ROCK MATRIX nights are back on on
Thursdays at Bexleyheaths THE RAT & PARROT,
or IVORY LOUNGE as it is now renamed,
ROY STONE CD's will be available at
ROCK MATRIX Events very soon & the next Album
should be ready for release around July....

New Track "HELLSFIRE DAMNATION" is done mostly, with a mega complex lead guitar section, kick ass verses & a dark reminder of medievil justice. Thats the 3rd song, on track for a new Album in the summer.

Rock Ballad "WARRIOR" is number 12 on the Musicrush Chart.... http://www.musicrush.com

Next Track is a thing called "STONEY GROUND, a moody Power Ballad with lots of jazz chords in the verses but with its roots in Metal in a power chorus & a buzzing lead section.

Got a complex lead guitar section to write, learn & record tommorow....

Part of Hellsfire Damnation, the lead section is over a 6 chord rythm piece but I'm going to tackle it by playing to harmony leads then finishing on key, so I need to learn an 18 key lead section plus obviously playing it in thhe middle of recording quality verses too

Keep the short set to the lower more punchy tuning for short Gigs, the full set has all the Pop Rock too !

Cool interview with Radio Phoenix Tthe Big Noise In Rock Radio at last nights Gig....also great performances from Internal Skars, Callous & Into Exile.
